Mort Castle has published well over 350 short stories and a dozen novels and collections, including Cursed Be the Child (Leisure Books, 1994) and The Strangers . A well-known teacher and mentor, he has given many hundreds of presentations to writers, both aspiring and published. He was the editor of Writing Horror (Writer’s Digest, 1997), which has become the “bible” for aspiring horror authors.

In addition to his 4 Bram Stoker nominations, Mort has been nominated for a Pulitzer and Pushcart prize. He graciously agreed to take a look at an advance copy of Bloodstone, for which the author is forever grateful.
